Job Description

Are you a qualified CPA, ACCA, CIMA professional, or MBA graduate with experience of reviewing and boosting financial performance and efficiencies in a law firm or professional services firm, building and enhancing relationships across an organisation, all with a critical eye for detail?

The pricing team of this major international law firm is tasked with developing fee models to support responses to client tender requests. Working in collaboration with partners and the business development teams, they prepare and present detailed data and viability analyses, as well as pricing forecasts to support fee proposals. Ongoing, the pricing team monitor actual performance on each case or deal projects against budgets, and give support and advice to improve financial performance and efficiencies.

The pricing team is a critical element to the firm’s financial success and profitability.

Now, an opening has become available to join this burgeoning team.

Your role

You would be a key player in this team, reporting to the regional team lead, you will provide functional support in using the firm’s time management and budgeting tools, and train fee earners in using the tool. On individual matters, you will be working closely with partners and the BD teams to develop financial forecasts and models that will assist them in winning tenders, as well as execute pricing agreements with clients. 

If you have worked in a law firm or professional services environment (typically 5-7 years) with any of the above-mentioned qualifications, and a strong track record of managing multiple large scale client projects, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a user-friendly manner, this could be the ideal role for you. Further, knowledge of SQL would be a major advantage.
