Job Description

This major corporate services provider has over 500 staff across multiple jurisdictions around the world, making it one of the leaders in their industry for the full suite of corporate, trusts, funds administration and other fiduciary services. A new role has been created for a regional Business Development Director to oversee the Asia region’s business development and marketing activities and to drive sales to a new level. This role will be based in Hong Kong.

The majority of this role will be taken up with generating new business for the company across Asia and developing the firm’s brand. In addition, you will oversee and have joint responsibility for the operational success of the Hong Kong office with the area operational head, including jointly managing staff, reviewing staffing requirements, and reviewing and improving client strategies.

To qualify, outstanding senior-level business development candidates with experience working in a major corporate service provider and who are seeking a new, exciting challenge (more operational exposure and the challenge to rapidly grow out a business across a region) are encouraged to apply.  You will already be in a senior position with expert knowledge on products and services commonly found in corporate services providers, and have ingrained a high level of compliance and risk awareness, together with a high level of financial and commercial knowledge. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to work in a matrix organisation, be able to operate independently, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong English and Mandarin capabilities are a must.
