Job Description

This prestigious, top tier global law firm is hiring a junior level conveyancing clerk to join their real estate team. As well joining one of the leading names in the legal services industry, you will be supporting and fee-earners in the real estate team on all administrative needs. You would be handling a high volume of documents and you should therefore be accustomed to working in a fast paced working environment and handling multiple tasks. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating and arranging meetings and conference calls, liaising and coordinating with internal and external parties
  • Provide general administrative support including taking telephone calls, photocopying, filing, assisting with client opening/closing requirements, archiving files, preparing reports
  • Handle a high volume of transaction of documents for conveyancing projects, including land registry filings and stamping, land registry searches 
  • Attend client signing meetings and follow checklists to ensure all procedures for exchanges of contracts and completion are followed 
  • Handle clerical duties including data input and filing
  • Recording meeting minutes, amending documents 
  • Handle ad hoc duties where required


  • Minimum 6 months' experience gained as a paralegal or other legal support in the conveyancing or commercial property team of a well known law firm in Hong Kong
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in attending clients independently
  • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages, good command of Cantonese would be an added advantage 
  • Excellent computer skills; well versed in MS Word and Excel, fast, accurate word-processing
  • Meticulous and conscientious, highly organised and self-motivated, able to meet tight deadlines
